Parts U.S. 60 Closed

floodwarning 300U.S. 69 is being closed at the Union-Henderson County Line at this time due to water covering the roadway, according to the Kentucky Department of Transportation.

The area is along U.S. 60 in Union County between the 23 and 25 mile marker.

Message boards are being placed to direct motorists to detour via Kentucky 141 to Kentucky 359 and Kentucky 136 through Smith Mills.

KYDOT expects the area will likely remain closed until floodwaters drop off of the roadway to allow at least one lane of travel.
