Police Searching for Man Wanted for Sav-A-Lot Robbery

Robbery 01 300HENDERSON, Ky. (12/31/13) - Henderson Police are searching for a man in connection with the robbery of the Sav-A-Lot grocery store.

Security footage from the store shows that a black male came into the South Green Street location and took more than $500 at 8:33 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20.

The footage shows the man entering the store, immediately walking to the register and safe area, removing money and then leaving the store. Store personnel were not aware that anyone was in the store at the time of the theft, according to the HPD report.

Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department at (270) 831-1295 or Crime Stoppers at (270) 831-1111.
