LEWISPORT, Ky. (1/6/14) - Kentucky State Police received an anonymous tip that minors were consuming alcoholic beverage and smoking marijuana around 11 p.m., Friday, Jan. 3 inside a residence in the Skyline Trailer Park of Lewisport.
When officers arrived, they detected a strong odor of marijuana and loud music coming from one of the residences in the Skyline subdivision, according to KSP. Upon entering the residence, troopers found three young adults and four juveniles, whom were all suspected of being under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or marijuana. While inside the residence, authorities observed alcoholic beverages, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in plain view.
Robert S. Carman, 18, was charged with possessing/purchasing or have another purchase alcohol, four counts of unlawful transaction with a minor second degree, four counts of unlawful transaction with a minor third degree, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia buy/possess, and failure to notify address change with department of transportation.
Preston T. Veitch, 18, was charged with possessing/ purchasing or have another purchase alcohol, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia buy/possess, and tampering with physical evidence.
Jaclyn L. Peveler, 18, was charged with Tampering with physical evidence, and fleeing or evading police second degree (on foot). Troopers cited the juveniles involved and contacted their parents.
