Mini-Van Strikes Woman, Flees Scene

Accident Injury 01 blue 300HENDERSON, Ky. (1/6/14) - Henderson Police responded to an accident with injuries call 1:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 at the intersection of Center Street and North Green Street.

Tiffany Bassett, 21, was hit by a white Dodge Caravan that left the scene. Bassett stated she was crossing Center Street traveling southbound when the mini-van hit her. The mini-van was turning northbound on North Green Street from Center Street, according to HPD.

The investigation is ongoing. If anyone has any information regarding this case, they should contact HPD at: (270) 831-1295 or Crime stoppers at (270) 831-1111.
