November Hit-and-Run Case Closed

arrest morrisHENDERSON, Ky. (01/07/14) - Warrants were issued for the arrest of a Henderson man that produced a handgun after a hit and run accident in November.

Jeremy W. Morris, 30, was served with several warrants at the Henderson County Detention Center on Jan. 5 after being involved in a hit and run accident with Amber Majors Nov. 23 on U.S. 60 East in Henderson. During the accident, Morris exited his vehicle and walked up to Major’s vehicle and then produced a handgun from the waistband of his pants. Morris then got back into his vehicle and left. Witnesses provided officers with the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle, according to HPD.

Morris was served warrants for leaving the scene of accident, possession of handgun by a convicted felon, menacing, and wanton endangerment second degree.
