Traffic Advisory - Roads to Close During Bridge Construction at Canoe Creek

ky trans cab 300HENDERSON, Ky. (1/9/14) - A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY Hwy 136 in Henderson County starting Monday, January 20, 2014.

KY Hwy 136 will be closed at mile point 24.61 to allow construction of a new bridge over the East Fork of Canoe Creek. This closure is along KY Hwy 136 between KY Hwy 520 and KY Hwy 416.

There will be a marked detour via KY Hwy 416 and KY Hwy 520, as well as a marked truck detour via KY Hwy 416 and US 41.

Cambry Contracting is the prime contractor on this $644,680 bridge replacement project. Construction of the new bridge is expected to take about 6 months to complete.
