DUE TO HEAVY SNOWS IN WESTERN KENTUCKY...WIDESPREAD 6 TO 12 INCH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS HAVE HAULTED AREA TRAVEL. ISOLATED 15 INCH AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. DRIFTS UP TO A FOOT AND A HALF HAVE ALSO BEEN REPORTED. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION AND TRAVEL SHOULD BE AVOIDED IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. (National Weather Service)

ARRESTLOG 2HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (1/30/14) — The Hopkins County Sheriff's Department released the following reports Thursday, Jan. 30.

Michael S. Scott, 45, Madisonville, was charged Jan. 28 with fourth-degree assault/domestic.

Shelton T. Smith, 47, Madisonville, was charged on a warrant Jan. 28 with failure to make required disposition.

Donna J. Barish, 41, Madisonville, was charged on a warrant Jan. 29 with theft by unlawful taking under $500 and theft by unlawful taking under $10,000.

Joshua Warner, 27, White Plains, was charged on a warrant Jan. 29 with non-payment of fines.

Brittany N. Warner, 24, White Plains, was charged on a warrant Jan. 29 for non-payment of fines.

Benny W. Davis, 51, Madisonville, was charged Jan. 30 with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
