Owensboro Chamber_of_Commerce_300OWENBORO, Ky. (2/4/14) – Members of more than 20 Chambers of Commerce throughout western Kentucky will hear remarks from members of the state legislature during a special reception Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Frankfort Convention Center.

The reception is from 5 p.m. to 7 pm EST and is open to the public to attend.

Business leaders and representatives of city and county governments will also be in attendance at West Kentucky Thank You Night, which is hosted by the West Kentucky Regional Chamber Alliance (WKRCA) and Chamber Leadership Initiatives for Northwest Kentucky (C-LINK).

More than 60 businesses, economic development offices, local government agencies, chambers of commerce and educational institutions have joined together to sponsor the event. Greater Owensboro region sponsors of the event include Atmos Energy, Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, GRADD, Owensboro Convention Center, Owensboro Health, Owensboro Riverport Authority, and Swedish Match.

The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce has chartered a bus to provide transportation to the event. The bus will leave the Commerce Center parking lot (200 East 3rd Street) at 1:30 p.m.

CST and return at 10 p.m. CST. Cost to ride the bus is $30 each.

Advance reservations for the bus are required and can be made by calling the Chamber at (270) 926-1860.
