breakingnews surfky 300CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (3/7/14) — Central City Police Chief Brent Roberson has confirmed to SurfKY News that an apparent suicide occurred Friday, March 7, at Rosehill Cemetery at 603 East Everly Brothers Boulevard.

"At 11:06 a.m., the Central City Police Department received a call from Muhlenberg Central Dispatch that a male subject was down inside Rosehill Cemetary." Roberson said. "Upon our arrival we found a 53-year-old male with an apparent gunshot wound. No foul play is suspected at this time. The victim has been identified as Dennis Gaston of Central City."

No further details are being released at this time.

Roberson said the incident is still under investigated by CCPD and the Muhlenberg County Coroner's Office.
