Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision

accidentwinjuries2 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/14/14) – An Owensboro woman and a Henderson couple were injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Wendell Ford Expressway Thursday evening just before 6 p.m.

According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Richard L. O’Nan, 75, Henderson, was driving west on the expressway when he apparently missed his exit and moved onto the median to turn around.

Authorities said Jamie Purcell, 22, Owensboro, was driving west behind O’Nan and “veered into the median,” where she collided with O’Nan’s vehicle.

O’Nan and his wife, Janet F. O’Nan, and Purcell were injured in the accident, police said.
