Henderson County Traffic Advisory

lane restriction 300HENDERSON, Ky. (4/2/14) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has restricted traffic to one lane along Kentucky 285 in Henderson County and Kentucky 359 in Union County for bridge overlay and deck restoration work starting today.

Kentucky 285 in Henderson County is restricted to one lane at the 2 mile marker to allow work on the Canoe Creek Bridge.

Kentucky 359 in Union County is restricted to one lane at mile point 6.930 to allow work on the Highland Creek Bridge.

Traffic in each of these work zones is restricted to one lane with alternating flow controlled by an automated signal. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Intech Contracting is the prime contractor on these two projects totaling $404,487. This deck overlay work is take about a month to complete, weather permitting.
