Henderson County School District Announces New Calendar

Henderson Co schools logoHENDERSON, Ky. (4/2/14) – Now that the Kentucky legislature has passed legislation on school calendar regulations, the Henderson County Board of Education has ratified the 2013-14 end of year school calendar.

The dates are as follows:

May 1-6 – End of Course exams for Henderson County High School
May 5-14 – High School AP testing
May 12-16 - K-PREP state testing for grades 3-8 and End of Course exams for Central Academy
May 15-22 – On Demand writing test for grades 10-11
May 20 – School not in session for Election Day
May 22, 23, 27 – High school final exams
May 26 – School not in session in observance of Memorial Day
May 28 – Students’ last day of school
May 29 – School Closing day
May 30 – Henderson County High School graduation
June 2 – Central Academy graduation
June 5 – Deadline for school staff to complete their 186 day contract
