mcc 01 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (4/23/14) — Madisonville Community College's Enrollment Center will host an Open House and Advising Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 1 for all students affected by the impending closure of Mid-Continent University.

"It's important that these students learn their transfer options at other colleges," said Dr. Jay Parrent, MCC Chief Student Affairs Officer.  "We want them to continue their education and hope to help them make a seamless transition to MCC."

Admissions representatives, academic advisors, and financial aid counselors will be available to discuss options for the summer and fall 2014 semesters.  Students bringing their Mid-Continent University transcripts may request an evaluation to determine transfer credit.  On-demand Compass testing will also be available.

MCC's Enrollment Center is located on the 3rd floor of the John H. Gray Building; no appointment is necessary.  For more information about the event, contact Aimee Wilkerson, Director of Enrollment Management, by email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
