HENDERSON, Ky. (4/25/14) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the northbound US 41 ramp to the US 41 Bypass/Pennyrile Parkway at Henderson for about 2 hours on the morning of Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
The closure starting at 9 a.m., CDT, is to allow the top of a drainage structure to be replaced along the ramp. This work is expected to take about 2 hours to complete. The roadway will reopen as soon as installation of a new pre-fabricated concrete drain cover is complete.
This northbound ramp is at US 41 mile point 12.9, just north of the Kentucky 812 intersection.
There will be no marked detour. However, northbound motorists on US 41 may self-detour via the Kentucky 2084 Connector or other side streets to enter the US 41 Bypass northbound via ramps from Kentucky 351/Zion Road.Timely traffic advisories for the 11 counties of KYTC Highway District 2 are available by going to www.facebook.com/kytcdistrict2.
