The ceremony will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at the RiverPark Center located at 101 Daviess Street, in Owensboro.

Dr. Biden, an educator for more than 30 years, teaches English full-time at Northern Virginia Community College while continuing to fulfill her duties as Second Lady.

OCTC offers 29 associate degrees and 34 certificate programs to a student population of more than 4,200 students, serving the region of Daviess, Ohio, Hancock and McLean counties. Programs at OCTC equip students with the skills they need to succeed in career opportunities immediately after graduation, including high wage, high demand options, as well as preparation for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. OCTC has developed partnerships and collaborations with other universities, including Western Kentucky University, the private sector, and federal agencies.

Due to space limitations, this is a ticketed event. Tickets are free and available to the public. Tickets are allocated to graduates and their families first, then by request.
