HENDERSON, Ky. (6/2/14) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans an extended closure of Kentucky 145 in Henderson County starting Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
The closure of Kentucky 145 between the 5 and 6 mile marker is to allow a large drainage structure to be replaced. This is along Kentucky 145 between Sulphur Springs Road and Gibson Road in the Beaver Dam Creek area. This is along Kentucky 145 about 3 miles south of Corydon.
The roadway at this site will be closed for 3 to 5 days. There will be a marked detour.
This drainage structure will be replaced with a pre-fabricated culvert to help reduce the amount of time the roadway is closed.Timely traffic advisories for the 11 counties of KYTC Highway District 2 are available by going to www.facebook.com/kytcdistrict2.
