HENDERSON, Ky. (6/12/14) — Although they have both been with the Henderson County Schools System for several years, the 2014-2015 school year will mean a change in duties and responsibilities for two Henderson County staff members.

The Henderson County Board of Education has approved Jeff Coursey as the Director of Transportation and Bonnie Gelke as Interim Director of Special Education.

Coursey formerly served the district as School Administrative Manager at Henderson County High School where he held that position for seven years.

Gelke is returning to the Henderson County School System after retiring as Director of Special Education in 2009 with thirty-three years of service.

Both Coursey and Gelke will assume their responsibilities in their new positions July 1, 2014.
