Webster County Traffic Advisory

road closed orange 300WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky (6/12/14) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans daytime closures along a section of Kentucky 132 in Webster County continuing into next week.

Kentucky 132 has been closed during daylight hours at mile point 12.3 to allow repairs to the Nall Ditch Bridge. This is along Kentucky 132 between Dixon and Clay just west of the Kentucky 857 intersection.

The day time closures are likely to continue through Friday, June 20. In addition to rain and high water that hampered work at the site, the KYTC District 2 Bridge Crew found erosion damage to the bridge substructure was more extensive than expected.

Kentucky 132 will be closed from approximately 8 a.m., CDT, to about 3 p.m., each day next week for the ongoing repair work.

There is a marked detour via US 41-Alternate and Kentucky 1340. Approximately 1,200 vehicles travel this section of Kentucky 132 in an average day.

Timely traffic advisories for the 11 counties of KYTC Highway District 2 are available by going to www.facebook.com/kytcdistrict2. You do not have to be a Facebook member to access this page.
