lane restriction2 300HENDERSON, Ky. (6/13/14) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict Northbound traffic along the US 41 North Strip at Henderson during the early morning hours of Saturday, June 14, 2014.

Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane along the US 41 North Strip at Henderson from approximately 4 a.m. to approximately 8 a.m., CDT, Saturday, to allow a contractor to do some corrective work to a recent paving project.

The contractor will be milling and re-paving three short sections of asphalt between about Barrett Boulevard and Audubon Park. This is between about the 17 and 18 mile marker.

Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this area. Caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Approximately 37,000 vehicles travel this section of the US 41 North Strip at Henderson in an average day.
