DUE TO HEAVY SNOWS IN WESTERN KENTUCKY...WIDESPREAD 6 TO 12 INCH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS HAVE HAULTED AREA TRAVEL. ISOLATED 15 INCH AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. DRIFTS UP TO A FOOT AND A HALF HAVE ALSO BEEN REPORTED. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION AND TRAVEL SHOULD BE AVOIDED IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. (National Weather Service)

oboro police 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (6/18/14) — Owensboro Police Department reported the recent arrests and citations:

Jennifer Chaney, 23, of Henderson, was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting less than $500.

Terry Cook, 35, address unknown, was charged with second degree fleeing or evading police and second degree criminal trespassing.

Raymond Flowers, 49, of Owensboro, was charged with failure to or improper signal, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Theresa Lyons, 43, of Owensboro, was charged with reckless driving.

Mary Pate, 56, of Owensboro, was charged with second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Victor Sheriff, 44, of Owensboro, was charged with first degree criminal trespassing and fourth degree assault.
