kid-swimmingOWENSBORO, Ky. (6/25/14) — The next session of Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department's Learn to Swim and Pre-school Aquatics programs begin June 9 for children 3 years old and older.

Session 3 takes place July 7-11and the deadline to register is June 27.

Session 4 takes place July 21-25 and the deadline to register is July 11.

Classes will follow the teaching guidelines and test procedures set by the American Red Cross.

Learn to Swim classes are 45 minutes in length and cost $40 per session; pre-school Aquatics are 30 minutes in length and cost $35 per session. There will be 15 minutes of free swim at the end of each class.

Participants will receive two free passes to skate at the Edge Ice Center, plus free swimming on Saturdays at either pool location.
