Fleeing and Evading Arrest

General Arrest 03 300HENDERSON, Ky. (7/7/14) — Javarus Webb attempted to avoid a Sobriety Checkpoint by abruptly turning onto Wilson Station Road from US 41 A.

Webb failed to stop after Trooper Settle activated emergency equipment, which led to an approximately 20 mile vehicle pursuit. The vehicle pursuit ended when Webb lost control of his vehicle and struck an abandoned house at 12480 US HWY 41A.

Webb was arrested after a short foot pursuit. No one was injured during the incident.

Webb was lodged in the Henderson County Jail and charged with Fleeing and Evading in Motor Vehicle and on Foot, Wanton Endangerment First, Resisting Arrest and numerous other Traffic Charges.
