lane restriction2 300HENDERSON, Ky. (7/17/14) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on a section of the Breathitt-Pennyrile Parkway in Henderson County Monday and Tuesday, July 21 and 22, 2014.

Motorists should be prepared to encounter a lane restriction for both northbound and southbound traffic along the Pennyrile Parkway at mile point 75.382 in Henderson County.

The lane restriction is to allow a long-reach track hoe to work in the median to clear debris around the Elam Ditch Bridge.

All traffic in this work zone will move to the right-hand or driving lane. Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the Pennyrile Parkway 75 mile marker. Caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

This work is scheduled on a weather permitting basis. In case of rain it will advance to the next working day until completed.
