SEX CRIMES1 orange 300HENDERSON, Ky. (7/28/14) — On Saturday, July 26, 2014 at approximately 7:09 p.m. the Henderson Police Department responded to the 300 block of N. Water St., along the riverbank, for a sexual assault.

The victim reported Elias Nieves, 21 of Henderson sexually assaulted her after the two swam together in the river.

Nieves was located a little while later and arrested for Rape, First Degree.

He is lodged in the Henderson County Jail.
