HENDERSON, Ky. (8/4/14) — On Aug. 3, 2014, James L. Mays, 25, of Owensboro, was arrested on a Parole Violation and a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear out of Daviess County, Ky.
While being booked into the Henderson County Detention Center, HCDC deputies witnessed Mays drop a small plastic bag containing Methamphetamine (positive field test) on the floor behind him. Mays then attempted to hide the bag under his foot. Mays denied that the bag belonged to him.
Mays was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance First Degree, First Offense (Methamphetamine), Tampering with Physical Evidence, Bench Warrant - Failure to Appear, and a Parole Violation Warrant.He was lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center.
