HendersonPD logoHENDERSON, Ky. (9/3/14) — The Henderson Police Department released the following reports.

On Aug. 30, 2014, Shirley Cobb, of Henderson reported that some jewelry had been stolen from her home on Irish Ivy Lane. Cobb stated that her daughter, Marcie Haynes, 43, of Henderson, had stolen the items and pawned them at Audubon Loans in Henderson. Detective Troutman interviewed Marcie Haynes at the Henderson Police Department and she admitted to stealing the items and pawning them at Audubon Loans. Detective Troutman stated that some of the items had been retrieved, but one had already been melted down. Marcie Haynes was cited for Receiving Stolen Property Under $10,000.00 and has a court date of Oct. 14, 2014 at 9 a.m.

On Sept. 3, 2014, officers responded to Methodist Hospital regarding a 24 year old female that had been stabbed. Detective Troutman spoke with the victim, Megan Young, 24, of Henderson who stated that Jessica Hardrick, 26, of Henderson came to her home on South Green Street along with another female who had been causing her problems. Young went outside and told the women to leave. An argument ensued and Jessica Hardrick stabbed Megan Young in the chest and then fled the scene with the other female. Young was taken to the hospital by a friend where she was treated for a cut to her chest (1"-2" in length) and released. Jessica Hardrick was located and subsequently arrested by Detective Troutman for Assault First Degree. Hardrick was lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center.
