Two Charged in Connection With Stolen Car

car theft2 300HENDERSON, Ky. (2/19/13) Two Henderson men are in custody at the Henderson County Detention Center in connection with the Henderson Police Department’s investigation of report of a stolen car.
 
According to the Henderson Police Department, authorities received report of a stolen car from a residence in the 1500 block of Washington St. on Feb. 15. “A short time later,” authorities stated in a news release, “officers observed the vehicle… on Second St.” in Henderson.
 
Arrested in connection with the alleged theft were Christopher Smith, 41, and Terrill Dixon, 41, both of Henderson. Smith was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking, Theft of Motor Vehicle Registration Plate, No/Expired Registration Plates, Improper Display of Registration Plates, and Failure of Non-Owner to Maintain Insurance. Dixon was charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle Registration Plate.
