OWENSBORO, Ky. (03/22/2013) – Following an hour-long community greet and a roughly half-hour student presentation, members of the Daviess County Board of Education hurried through a light agenda before going into closed session at their meeting Thursday evening, March 21.

The board heard an update on testing and approved several policy changes as well as various bids. One of the bids affected federal reimbursement for the district's e-rate.

Board members were told the new e-rate could save the district as much as $50,000
