HENDERSON, Ky. (3/15/13) – On March 14 at 9:09 p.m., Henderson EMS, Fire, and Police responded to a report of a vehicle accident with injuries in the 400 block of Meadow Street.

According to Henderson Police, Shelby Jameson, 32, Henderson, was traveling south as Erbin Fortune, 53, Henderson, was driving north. Authorities said the two collided head-on.

Fortune was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Jameson wasn’t hurt.

On March 14 at 2:06 p.m., Henderson EMS, Fire, and Police responded to a report of an automobile accident with injuries in the 300 block of 12th Street.

According to Henderson Police, Christy Nesmith, 38, Henderson, was stopped in traffic when she was apparently struck from behind by Denise Britt, 34, Henderson. Authorities said Britt told them she didn’t see Nesmith’s vehicle before the collision occurred.

Nesmith was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
