Dirt Bike Wreck Leads to Charges

 

accident w injuries redHOPKINS COUNTY, KY (02/27/12) – On Saturday, Feb. 26, Central Dispatch received a complaint of a single-vehicle accident involving a dirt bike on Red Hill Road in Nortonville.
 
Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Mark Gentry responded to the scene and found that 29-year old Michael Suttle of Madisonville had been operating a Yamaha YZF 250 dirt bike traveling westbound on Red Hill Road. Suttle lost control of the bike and ran off the roadway, striking a ditch, and coming to final rest in the driveway of 210 Red Hill Road.
 
Medical Center Ambulance arrived on the scene and transported Suttle to Regional Medical Center, where he was treated for a neck injury and then released. Suttle was charged on citation with the following charges. This traffic collision is still under investigation.
 
-Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 4th offense  
-Operating on Suspended/Revoked License
-Operating ATV on Roadway
