Truck Accident with Chemical Spill on Dalton Road

accident glass 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (3/7/13) – On Thursday, March 7, various local first responders were called to the scene of an accident on Dalton Road, just off Princeton Pike.

Once on the scene, officials found a truck wrecked with a massive spill of liquid nitrogen. At the time, the driver of the truck was trapped inside and had to be cut out of the vehicle.

Officials have stated that the area has been temporarily evacuated due to the chemical spill and the roadway has been blocked from any traffic, including that of local school buses.

Various fire departments, law enforcement and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene.
