Poole’s Pharmacy Takes Part in Color Blast

color2OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/4/13) – Last month, Owensboro saw record turnout for a 5K event at its Color Blast, and among the groups that took part was a 15-member team representing Poole’s Pharmacy Care that both ran and walked in the March 23rd event at English Park.

The Color Blast is a 5K walk or run that raises money for the following charities: Puzzle Pieces, Wendell Foster’s Campus for Developmental Disabilities, Dream Riders of Kentucky, Team Karlie, Two Rivers Buddy Ball and Green River Area Down Syndrome Association. The Poole’s Pharmacy Care Team had an awesome time getting sprayed along the way with colors. The team was anchored by Respiratory Therapist Beth Smith, who completed the course in a sensational time. Windy Smith and her family represented the business’ Owensboro store, Amy Cox represented the Livermore store, and Elva Jessup represented the Central City store.
