Fair for Adult Learners at WKCTC

wkctc greenPADUCAH, Ky. (4/9/13) – West Kentucky Community and Technical College will host an Adult Learner Fair on April 22 to help non-traditional students learn about the steps to take toward earning a GED, certificate or college degree.
 
WKCTC representatives will be available to answer questions and provide assistance with:
 
• How to apply for admission.
• How and where to apply for financial aid.
• Programs offered and career-oriented   degrees.
• Advising and testing options.
• Career placement opportunities.

Participants can also learn about the Accelerating Opportunity program that can help adult students improve reading or math skills, obtain a Health Science Technology, Early Childhood Education or Industrial Maintenance certificate with individualized classes and accelerated learning.
 
The Adult Learner Fair will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Anderson Technical Building on April 22.
 
Attendees can sign up to win a Kindle Fire. Refreshments will be served during the fair.
