Hopkins School System Begins Screening Process for Nominations for Superintendent

hopkinsschool 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (4/25/13) – The Hopkins County Public Schools superintendent screening committee received 14 applications for the position of superintendent of the Hopkins County Public Schools. There are 13 in-state applicants and one out-of-state applicant with five having superintendent experience.
 
The screening committee will now begin the process of screening all applications, following the guidelines established in KRS 160.352 and Board Policy 02.1. Per the timeline established by the Board of Education, the screening committee will make its recommendation to the board by May 7.
 
At this point, following the guidelines in Board Policy, members of the screening committee will keep all applicant information in strict confidence.
