MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/17/13) – The newest "Birdhouse Library" was installed Monday, June 10, at Madisonville City Park.

The libraries, which operate under the concept "leave a book, take a book," are a project of Celebrate Literacy Hopkins County.

Hopkins County Schools and Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce have partnered with many organizations, including the city of Madisonville, on this project.

This birdhouse library is located at the playground. Others are already available at the Chamber of Commerce and Hammack-Moore House Bed and Breakfast.
