Accident Injury 01 gold 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/26/13) – At approximately 11:14 AM on Tuesday, June 25, Madisonville Police Officers responded to the scene of an accident on South Main Street.

Officers reported that 54-year-old Mark Phebus, of Dawson Springs, was traveling northbound on South main Street in his 2012 Dodge pickup truck when he came to a stop in traffic. At the same time, Sierra Guffey, 21, of Providence was northbound in a 2006 Mazda 6. Guffy rear-ended Phebus.

Guffey was transported to Baptist Health for injuries sustained in the accident. Phebus suffered no injuries.

Madisonville Police Department was assisted on the scene by Med Center and Madisonville Towing.
