Skeletal Remains Identified as Human

breakingnews surfky 300aUPDATEDEVSTORYMADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/2/13) – On Monday the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office verified that remains had been found in the Continental Drive area just off HWY 85.
 
At the time of the location, the skeletal remains could not be positively identified as human. The remains were transferred to the Hopkins County Coroner’s Office, and then to the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office.
 
Today, June 2, 2013, Sheriff’s Office officials informed SurfKY News that the remains have been officially identified as those of a human.
 
The investigation is currently ongoing by Sheriff’s Office Detectives.
