Owensboro Man Charged With Criminal Mischief

General Arrest 06 orangeblue 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (7/4/13) – An Owensboro man was charged with two counts of felony criminal mischief following an Owensboro Police investigation, authorities reported today.

Officers responding to report of slashed vehicle tires in the 4100 block of Rudy Martin Drive at around 5 a.m. this morning said they discovered approximately 25 incidents of vandalism to vehicles in the area of Rudy Martin and Fulkerson drives, and Hoover Court. Multiple above-ground swimming pools also showed signs of damage, authorities added.

The investigation into the vandalism led authorities to arrest Johnathan R. Embry, 24, on two counts of First Degree Criminal Mischief. Police allege he is responsible for two of the locations where damage occurred, and noted that additional charges are pending for other incidents in the area.

Embry was lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.
