freddieHOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Former X Factor contestant Freddie Combs visited Kentucky and Indiana this weekend and SurfKY News was there to hear his performances.  Freddie Combs and his wife, Kay, traveled from Greenville, Tennessee to minister in music and testimony.  On their first stop, they were in Nortonville, KY at City Hall for a community concert and fundraiser for House of Hope (of Mannington, KY).

Combs stunned the X Factor judges, audience, and viewers when he appeared on stage in 2012 singing “Wind Beneath My Wings,” which he dedicated to his wife who has been his caregiver for quite some time. The two also appeared on the TLC cable network on two reality shows, “Ton of Love” and “Heavily Ever After.”  Over the weekend, Combs sang his signature song again in Evansville, IN at Howell General Baptist Church.  Again, the crowd was in awe; tears fell and hearts were touched.  He sang various gospel songs and shared the message that “If God can use me, He can use you.”
