KSP Charges Sebree Man with Arson

Fire 05 arson 300SEBREE, Ky. (7/10/13) – The Kentucky State Police has charged a Sebree man with arson.
 
On Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at approximately 1:50 a.m., KSP Arson Investigator Rick Godsey charged Tommy R. Branson, 60 of Sebree, KY, with one count of Arson 2nd Degree (Class B Felony).

On Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at approximately 10:21 p.m., KSP Post 2 Madisonville received a call from Webster County in reference to a house fire located at 328 Starl Shelton Road in Sebree. (There were no injuries reported.)
 
Through the course of the investigation, Investigator Godsey was able to obtain an arrest warrant for Mr. Branson. Mr. Branson was lodged in the Webster County Detention Center.

Trooper Nathan Craft, Trooper Jonathan Murphy, and the Webster County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the investigation.
