Car VS Scooter on Park Avenue

accident w injuries redMADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/23/13) – On Tuesday, July 23, at approximately 2:25 PM, Madisonville Police Officers responded to a report of an accident with possible injuries at the intersection of Park Avenue and Hall Street.

Once on the scene, officers found that 22-year-old Brandi L. Scott, of Sebree, was driving westbound on Hall Street, coming to a stop at the intersection, in a 2004 Toyota. At the same time, a 16-year-old minor was traveling on a 2011 scooter when Scott failed to yield the right-of-way to the minor. The minor struck the minor’s vehicle on the right side.

The minor was transported to Baptist Health for non-life threatening injuries.
