manage problem employees 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/24/13) – Nationally recognized business consultant and best-selling author Glenn Shepard is coming to Madisonville for a half-day seminar.
 
Shepard will present a program, “How to Supervise People and Lead a Team,” based on one of his books, How to Manage Problem Employees, published by Wiley and Sons. The workshop takes place from 8:30 a.m.-noon Tuesday, August 6 at the Baptist Health Madisonville Medical Associates Building B 8th floor conference room, 200 Clinic Drive.
 
Attendees will learn successful management practices including motivational strategies, methods for diffusing tension and discouraging toxic behavior by employees, and more.
 
Shepard’s visit is sponsored by the Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President Lee Lingo said the seminar is a “terrific opportunity for the region’s business community.”

“Managers from Fortune 500 companies attend Glenn Shepard’s seminars because he’s an effective, engaging speaker,” Lingo said, “and his books consistently receive positive reviews. We’re excited to host this informative event.”
 
Cost for the event is $149 per person. Chamber members receive discounted tuition of $129 per person. Companies that enroll three employees may send a fourth at no cost.
