CherriCare Cares For Patients in Every Situation

cherricareOWENSBORO, Ky. (7/30/13) -- CherriCare, Inc., a locally owned company that carries everything from bedside commodes, compression ware, nebulizers, CPAPs, and oxygen tanks has served patients and families in Owensboro for 17 years.

The business was founded and is owned by Cherri Lolley, a Registered Nurse that grew up as a daughter of missionaries in Africa. When she was 18, she moved to Owensboro to start a family. She now has four kids from ages 24 to five.

She began the business after one of her middle daughters was born with multiple disabilities. She knew that her daughter needed more 24-hour care than what was provided for her by other nurses, so Lolley quit her job as a nurse and became a full-time care giver. Lolley got an idea to start a company that provided care for people with disabilities and their families, and she began it out of delivery van.

In addition to the items listed above, CherriCare also carries Hospice care items, and items for better transportation like canes, ramps, walkers, scooters, and crutches.

The business not only carries medical equipment items, but also offers certified fitters, technicians, and Respiratory Care Practitioners. They provide in-home assessments for health needs and if any needs arise with their products.

“We enjoy helping people,” Justin Rhinerson, CherriCare Marketing Director, said. “We can take an uncomfortable patient and make them comfortable.”

CherriCare now provides maternity and breast feeding items, as well as mastectomy prosthesis.

Many companies offer the same services, but Rhinerson believes their quality sets them apart.

“At the end of the day, we think our services are better,” Rhinerson said.

If you are interested in the goods and services of CherriCare, Inc., stop by their store at 1726 Sweeney St. or call them at 270-926-2252.
