Motorcycle Struck by Pickup on Nebo Road

motorcycle accident red 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/5/13) – On Saturday, August 3, 2013, Madisonville Police Department (MPD) officials responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Nebo Road and North Main.
 
Once on the scene, officers found that Shawn Morseman, 40, of Slaughters was traveling southbound on a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle when he came to a stop at the intersection of Nebo and North Main. At the same time, Brea Cullen, 19, of Madisonville was traveling southbound on Island Ford Road in a 2008 Toyota Pickup truck. Morseman entered the intersection as Cullen made a left turn onto North Main. Cullen’s truck struck Morseman’s motorcycle on the left side with the front bumper.
 
Morseman was transported to Baptist Health by Med Center Ambulance for injuries sustained in the accident.
 
Cullen, and passenger Koten Cullen, were not injured.
