MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/14/13) – In support of Habitat for Humanity of Hopkins County’s “Raise the Roof” fundraising event, Mayor David W. Jackson has proclaimed Friday, August 16, 2013 as Habitat for Humanity Day in the City of Madisonville.
“Since 1991 the local Habitat for Humanity organization has built approximately 60 homes, providing more than 200 adults and children with a safe and affordable place to live,” said Mayor Jackson. “The organization’s contributions to the community are to be commended, and the City of Madisonville is proud to provide ongoing support to Habitat for Humanity of Hopkins County.”
