Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Pride Avenue

pedestrian hit 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/2/13) – On Saturday, August 31, at approximately 4:53 p.m., Madisonville Police Officers responded to a report of an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Pride Avenue.
 
Once on the scene of the incident, officers found that Joe Browder, 56, of Louisville was traveling southbound on Pride Avenue operating a white Toyota Corolla. The pedestrian, 34-year-old Trevin Brinkley of Madisonville, was on foot near the intersection of Pride and Elm Street. As Browder topped the hill in his vehicle, he collided with Brinkley.
 
Brinkley was transported to Baptist Health via ambulance for treatment of injuries.
