MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/9/13) – On Monday, September 9, 2013, the Madisonville Police Department (MPD) reported three arrests in relation to a drug operation that has been active for at least two years in the Madisonville area.
According to MPD Public Information Officer Lt. Robert Carter, a joint effort connecting the resources and intelligence of multiple law enforcement agencies led to the arrest of several key individuals in this drug operation.
According to Cart, members of the Madisonville Police Department, DEA, Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, Kentucky Probation and Parole and Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department have remained vigilent during the course of a lengthy two-year investigation.
MPD officials state that the investigation is still currently underway.
Those arrested were 42-year-old William Randall Pauley of Ditney Road in Madisonville, 41-year-old Teri Bell of Lomond Drive in Madisonville and 47-year-old Kerry Wimberly of Ditney Road in Madisonville.
Pauley was arrested on charges of Violation of Controlled Substance Act. Bell was arrested for Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st degree; over 2 grams Meth, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Drug Paraphernalia. Wimberly was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth) and Drug Paraphernalia.
All are currently housed in the Hopkins County Jail.
