Body Found in Vehicle in Dawson Springs Area

investigation 300Dawson Springs, Ky. (9/12/13) – Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a Paducah man located Thursday afternoon near Dawson Springs in Hopkins County.  

Just before 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 12, a construction worker in the Interstate 69 work zone notified authorities after locating a deceased male in a pick-up truck parked inside of the work area in the southbound lanes of I-69. State Police investigators arrived at the scene and began an investigation.

At this time, cause of death has not been determined, however foul play is not suspected at this time. The deceased is identified as Timothy Hickman, 53 of Paducah.  

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed at the West Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville. The investigation is continuing by Detective Dan Morck.
