Two-Vehicle Accident with Injuries at Lowes Intersection

accident300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/23/13) – At approximately 12:40, local first responders were dispatched to the scene of an accident reported at the intersection directly in front of Lowes.
 
Once on the scene, SurfKY News reporters found that a panel truck had apparently struck the side of a pick-up. Although no statements have been confirmed at this time, one of the vehicles was obviously pulling a trailer that was overturned as a result of the accident.
 
Also as a result of an accident, diesel fuel had been spilling onto the highway. Madisonville Fire officials were on the scene cleaning up the fuel spill.
 
Madisonville Police Department and Madisonville Fire Department had multiple units on the scene. Med Center Ambulance Service was also on the scene.
