Suspect Flees from Madisonville Police

General Arrest 05 blue 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/30/13) – On Thursday, Sept. 26, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Madisonville Police Officer Justin Jones was patrolling an area near the intersection of Murray Street and Noel Avenue when he noted a suspicious male subject in the area.
 
Officer Jones attempted to make contact with the individual, but the male disregarded the officer and began fleeing on foot, running between Murray Place Apartments and Noel Place. As Officer Jones chased the individual, the suspect began throwing illegal contraband.
 
The chase continued and Officer Jones was able to catch the individual on Lincoln Avenue.
 
One of the items discarded by the individual during the chase was that of a .380 pistol, fully loaded.
 
The suspect, Andre Browder, 37, of Victoria Street, was charged with Fleeing/Evading Police, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
